About me:
I'm a 24 year old laid-back male APS grad who's moved down from the central QLD coast and is looking for someone similar to share my place with. I'm thinking that a young professional or student would be an ideal fit. I love spicy food, Triple J, whisky and binge watching TV shows. I'm pretty social and keen to share with someone who wouldn't object to a few nights out on the town.
About the place:
Unfortunately, my current housemate is moving overseas meaning that I need someone to take over the lease for the remaining time until February 2016.
It's a fully furnished apartment with balcony right next to the Kingston shops (where you can get heaps of buses into the city and around Canberra), old bus depot markets and park areas; and within walking distance of the foreshore. It's about 30 minutes walk to the Parliamentary triangle so great if you are also an APS grad. Complex has a swimming pool and a tennis half court. It has reverse cycle air conditioning in the lounge room. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, and the bedroom is quite large with built in wardrobes and a double bed (with mattress) included.
All bills will be split equally. Apartment has an EER of 3.0 so utilities shouldn't be too bad (it was about $200 each for this quarter, and $100 each for the last). I have fast ADSL2+ internet with 300GB monthly quota, and this bill is split $17.50â„each per fortnight. You will also need to be approved by the real estate agent and go on the lease.
The apartment is available to move in when my current housemate moves out on 11 September 2015. Rent is payable fortnightly.
